Jumana Olive Soap - made in Aleppo

For generations, traditional olive soap has been made in Aleppo, one of the oldest cities in Syria. Once described as "the Pearl of the Orient", large parts of the city were destroyed between 2012 and 2016. Nevertheless, olive soap is still produced in the traditional way by local family businesses.

The soap consists of olive oil, laurel oil and baking soda, which makes it an ideal product for cleaning and caring for the skin. Olive oil moisturizes the skin. Laurel oil is particularly gentle on sensitive skin. However, its use is not traditionally limited to body cleansing, but is also used for many other purposes. It also serves as a natural shampoo or can be used to wash clothes.

This "basic version" of the olive soap has a characteristic and natural scent, which is a quality feature of real olive soap. We also offer our olive soap with different fragrances: honey-ginger, jasmine, damask rose, lavender, tulip, chamomile, oud-amber sandalwood and black cumin. This turns daily care into a feast for the senses. Enjoy this fragrance journey with us!

We at Jumana are in close contact and in constant exchange with the manufacturer of our quality soaps in Aleppo. On the one hand, this enables us to guarantee the consistently high quality of our products and, on the other hand, we can respond to your wishes and have our soaps made in the size and shape you want. Feel free to contact us!
